Visine Classic EYE DROPS Red Eyes Redness Irritation Relief Solution 15ml 0.5oz
Short-term relief of redness and / or swelling of non-infectious conjunctival irritation (caused by wind, smoke or chlorinated water). If you do not feel better or even get worse within 2 days, talk to your doctor.
How to use this eye drops:
Always take this
eye drops
exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. If you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Visine Classic should only be used for more than 2 days under medical supervision.
If symptoms do not improve within 2 days, or if eye irritation and redness persist or increase, stop taking Visine Classic and contact your doctor. If eye irritation or redness occurs due to a serious disorder such as infection, foreign body, or trauma, contact your doctor immediately. If severe eye and headache occurs, visual disturbances occur: double vision, blurred vision, if only one eye is acutely red, immediate medical attention is required.
Adults
Unless otherwise specified, apply 1 2 eye drops to the affected eye two or three times daily.
Children
Children over 6 years of age
Unless otherwise specified, apply 1 to 2 eye drops to the affected eye two or three times a day.
Children 3-5 years of age
Visine Classic should only be used in children in this age group if your doctor tells you to.
You take too much Visine Classic?
In the event of an overdose, especially in children, the active substance in the eye drops is absorbed into the blood. Side effects can then occur in other organ systems. If this happens, tell your doctor immediately.
Composition of Visine Classic
- The active substance is tetrizoline hydrochloride. 1 ml of eye drops contains 0.5 mg. 1 ml contains 26 28 eye drops.
- The other ingredients are benzalkonium chloride, sodium chloride, boric acid, borax, disodium edetate and purified water.
