    Description

    This is an original linen postcard circa 1940s depicting a trio of young women in masks and costume for the Mardi Gras celebration at New Orleans, Louisiana.
    The card is in generally like new shape, bears no message to the reverse side and was never mailed, showing only minor edge wear and tiny corner bumps. It was kept in an artist's morgue file for several decades, so has retained much of its original bright colors, sheen and suppleness.
