    Description

    This Registered Mail cover was mailed from
    Rialto, Melbourne, Australia to Stamp Dealer K. Bileski in Winnipeg, Canada in 1949 franked by a horizontal pair of the 3d dark violet brown KGVI issues of 1942, Scott 183A, and a 1/3 violet brown Hereford Bull issue of 1948, Scott 211, all tied to the envelope by a circular date stamp.
    Air Mail etiquette.
    The corner card at lower left is from the 'Department of Information, Commonwealth of Australia' above which is a circular 'Help Keep Prices Low / Buy Bonds and Savings Certificates' logo.
    Cut open right so slightly reduced, the backflap is sealed and intact. No contents. Verso has a 'Realto' cds and three different Canadian arrival/transit date stamps.
