this is a 2-part gelatin silver panoramic postcard view of the 1904 New Orleans Mardi Gras pageant on Canal Street; King Rex is visible at far left side
~  mailed to Salisbury, Connecticut - stamp is missing & no postmark date; captioned in the negative: "Mardi Gras Pageant on Canal Street" (left side), and "copyrighted 1904 by John N. Teunisson" ~ New Orleans, Louisiana ~ measurements when both sides are placed together: 10-7/8" x 3-1/2"
~ in GOOD/AS-FOUND condition, with a tan and reddish stain at left segment's right lower corner, with a surface scrape (paper missing) just to the right of the stain in addition to a surface scrape at right upper edge; the two segments (each are postcard-sized) are completely separated; the first gallery scan was made using a flatbed scanner to give the effect ot the two sides placed together - but they are separated; heavy foxing on verso side
