    AUSTRALIA 1965 registered airmail commemorative cover cancelled PARAFIELD AIRPORT / SA-AUST / 17MR65, which is the date the P.O. began operating under this name.
    Cover commemorates the 55th anniversary of the first flight in South Australia. The cover is signed by C. W. (Bill) Wittber, who not only flew the plane in 1910, but also built it!
    Parafield Airport P.O. was renamed from Parafield P.O. on March 17, 1965, and closed in 1986.
