A nice cover sent from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Franked with Australia Scott #143a (Stanley Gibbons #148a), the perf 11½ Centenary of Victoria 3d stamp from 1934 which is tied to the cover by a Sydney N.S.W. Posted Oversea Box slogan cancel dated October 24, 1934. There is an embossed Bank of Australia seal on the back flap. This cover measures 146mm x 90mm. See scans for condition.
